Nimway can help increase the usage of rooms. The below graph shows the peak occupancy of walk-in rooms for one customer. Prior to introducing Nimway the peak occupancy was hardly reaching 60%. After Nimway was introduced more employees were able to find a walk-in room when they needed it. This resulted in the peak occupancy reaching as high as 75% only weeks after release. To get the same positive effect by building more walk-in rooms, 12 new walk-in rooms would have to be built in this case throughout the building.

The Nimway system collects booking information as well as  actual occupancy of meeting rooms. These metrics are valuable on their own but when combining them, one more dimension becomes available. Now it becomes visible how much a bookable room is used without being booked and maybe even more importantly, how much a room is booked but not used. This waste can be minimised by changing configurations in the Nimway system, making sure a suitable room is always available when needed by the employees.
